Yet again the comic took a while due to being busy, as well as all of the continuity and physical effects in this one. I’m glad this one had a fully sketched version so I could match it up and make sure all of the pieces were in place, and I’m glad I can see how much my art approved since then! Once again, I can post a Patreon post about it once I scan in the old sketches.
I really hope the effect in the third panel reads well. Rupert is watching the bullet fly through the air, so his face is moving chronologically opposite to the direction in which people read in English, which might make it a bit counterintuitive. When I showed the original sketches to my family years back, one person laughed and said “He’s watchin’ it” at that point, so I might be overthinking it.
If you’re wondering about all of the items on Rupert’s desk, they were blown clear by an explosion. That’s really convenient for me since I don’t have to draw them all! Good thing that coincidentally happened.
