Comic Blog
This comic took a long time to come out too, but I absolutely refused to have an entire month between comics! I’ve been just as busy as before, and this comic involves a lot of little details that seemed really daunting to start drawing every time I had what little free time I had. In the end I didn’t use any shortcuts or make concessions, and that’s the attitude I want to keep as I create this comic.
I never realized it until I was writing the transcript of the comic, but the first two panels up until after the first spoken word have exactly the same transcription! I don’t remember much about way back when I was first writing the comic, but I don’t think it was intentional. As you can probably tell from the previous comic, I do enjoy a bit of parallel structure when it comes to art and dialogue, but I think that was a total coincidence.
Just to give you a little taste of my attention to detail, which is a large part of why it takes so long to complete a comic, have a look at this series of pictures and see if it speaks for itself.
