Panel 1: Doctor: I don’t understand it. I’ve been a doctor to just about everybody in the town of Peripheral Gardens, but I’ve never seen anything like this.
(Degrees in background)
Panel 2: Doctor: Whatever this red stuff is, it is actually coming out of your leg. In fact, you seem to be … filled with it! Now, I don’t know if we all are, or if it’s just you, but I know I’ve never seen it come out.
Panel 3: Doctor: Maybe if we call in a doctor from the city we could find out, but this is the worst malady anybody’s ever had in this town.
Panel 4: Rupert: Is there some way to stop it from coming out? Or maybe … cram it back in?
Doctor: Not in any of my medical books, and I have every one that was ever published in the whole town!
(Books on table: Nondescript medicines; Tummy aches; Case of the sniffles; Being Dizzy)
Panel 5: Doctor: In fact, I’ve checked everything here except … Hold on … Let me check the old cabinets.
(Doctor is dropping the book Mild cough, and Rupert is reading the book The 7 ear itch)
Panel 6: Doctor: … What’s this? Brace yourself, Rupert. You may even end up needing … a lollipop.
Comic Blog
Aw yeah, check that perspective and shading in the last panel. That’s something that my first version of the comic didn’t do, which I might scan in some day to stick on Patreon or something. The hands in panel 2 are also worlds better than when I first started making the comic.
