10 – A heinous crime
Comic Blog
Here we have another comic that took quite a bit of time because of all of the different shading and coloring. I also noticed my phone bulging a bit this week, researched it online and found that the battery is probably going to explode if I keep using it. Thanks to that I have to work a bunch more at my online job, so uh … click on that shameless Patreon link, everybody!
As mentioned, this comic has a lot of night shading, and another random bit of coloring on the seal. I admit this comic might be a little confusing because I broke some version of the 180 rule between panels 4 and 5. To make it more clear, Rupert saw the teen running away, then took a shortcut by stepping on that garbage can, hopping the fence, and using the fire escape to slow his fall. I probably could have changed up the scenery to make that more clear, but then the comic would have taken another week or so to finish and it was already a week past my goal. Maybe if I ever revisit it way in the future, I’ll add some sort of overhead shot. That said, I really like the background characters in the first panel and objects in the area!
